Chicago's Cabrini-Green is one of the country's biggest, oldest and poorest housing projects. It is also home to more than 4,000 children. For many of these children, it is a world of neglect, abuse, illiteracy and generational poverty. Yet, thanks to Kids' Club, some children are saying no to drugs, crime and teenage pregnancy. Kids' Club is a faith-based after school program that is recognized by educators and community leaders for helping troubled children turn their lives around.
Its vision is to help high-risk, inner city children have a chance at a new, abundant life by loving the whole child-mind, body, and soul. Kids' Club believes each child is a unique creation of God with a special purpose to fulfill in our culture and world. Today, Kids' Club is helping approximately 200 children fulfill their God-given purpose. But, the waiting list is long and the time is short. Needed are individuals like you who are willing to contribute.
